My Teaching Journey
From science classrooms to English conversations, my work has always been about helping students grow with confidence.
Hi, I'm Aloha.
I'm an English teacher at Tianwei Junior High School in Changhua, Taiwan. Before that, I spent seven years teaching Biology in the Philippines.
Eight years in the classroom, two subjects, two countries, and many students who continue to teach me every day.
2016
Graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Biological Science from Cebu Normal University and began teaching the same year.
2016-2023
Special Science Teacher at Ramon E. Bacaltos Senior High School in the Philippines. Taught Grade 11 and 12 Biology, covering laboratory instruction, research mentorship, and curriculum work.
January 2024
Joined Tianwei Junior High School in Taiwan to teach English across Grades 7 through 9. Contributing to Changhua County's bilingual education initiative.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. I believe learning should be active, meaningful, and connected to students' needs and experiences.
